A guided walk through the gardens and grounds. A tour of the working vineyard and winery, with a tasting beneath the vines. A wedding day held by partners who know the estate by heart. A private event in any of the rooms, the lawns, or the secret garden.

I.

Garden & Heritage Tour

A guided walk lasting around two hours, led by the Estate Manager, the Estate Gardener and friends. The masterplan, the history, the future of lake and woodland — in groups of up to thirty.

Wednesday tours end with cake and a Q&A at St Olave's Church. Thursday tours include time with the vineyard team. Island residents pay £12 with the code ISLAND20.

II.
2026 dates live

Winery, Vineyard & Tasting

A guided walk through all three vineyards with our wine-maker, into the winery to see the press, tanks and barrels, and to a long table for a tutored tasting of three wines from the inaugural 2025 vintage. Served alongside sharing boards of small Isle of Wight cheeses and matched bites, brought through as pairings to bring out each wine in turn.

Weddings at Gatcombe

Gatcombe is a place of exquisite beauty, often bathed in the bright sunshine that is the hallmark of the island. We welcome any couple who would like to enjoy their most important day at the estate — with our wedding planning partners, who know it inside-out.

IV.

Private events

There are many places across the estate suitable for events — amongst the vines, on the expansive main lawn beside the two historic Oriental Planes, within the secret garden, in the grand entrance hall, or elsewhere. Each event is shaped to its setting.
