Pinot Noir 2025
A luminous ruby. The nose opens on redcurrant and wild strawberry, with morello cherry, a note of crushed rose and the faint woodland character of a cool-climate Pinot which indicates the exceptional promise from bottle aging. Eight months in French oak lend a whisper of clove and cedar rather than weight. The palate is light-footed and precise — bright red fruit carried on fresh acidity, with ripe tannins that will develop as the wine ages before drinking. A first vintage made by the fruit in the foremost site for classical age-worthy ultra‑premium Pinot Noir.
Serve lightly cool, 14–16°C. Drinking now, and over the next three to four years. Charcuterie, roast poultry, Island cheeses.
