The first wines from the Gatcombe Estate. A limited release from the excellent 2025 harvest — grown on the estate, pressed and vinified in our own winery, bottled here, and sent to your door.

Three wines open the cellar: our flagship Pinot Noir from the Park Vineyard, a Rosé de Saignée bled from Pinot Meunier grown in the Home Vineyard; the aromatic and crisp Pinot Blanc from Hope Vineyard. These exceptional wines carry the character of a young vineyard on a warm island — light-footed, precise, unmistakably of the place.

Pinot Noir 2025

Cuvée de l’Espérance

A luminous ruby. The nose opens on redcurrant and wild strawberry, with morello cherry and a note of crushed rose — and, already stirring beneath the fruit, the first savoury signs of the tertiary development the wine will grow into with age. Eight months in French oak lend a whisper of clove and cedar rather than weight. The palate is light-footed and precise — bright red fruit carried on fresh acidity, framed by ripe, fully resolved tannins that will carry the wine through a long life in bottle. Shown to some of the world’s most exacting sommeliers, the inaugural vintage was met with astonishment — a still Pinot Noir of a completeness rarely thought possible from these shores, and a first, quiet signal of what is to come.

Serve lightly cool, 14–16°C. Expressive fruit, with balanced acidity and tannic structure — a quality wine that will show best once aged in bottle.

Rosé de Saignée 2025

Home Vineyard

Bled from Pinot Meunier by the saignée method, this is a rosé with colour and conviction — a vivid, jewel-bright pink. Raspberry and redcurrant lead, with wild strawberry, pomegranate and a stony, saline minerality drawn from the complex expressive soils beneath the estate. Eighteen hours on the skins give it flesh and a gentle grip; two weeks of cool fermentation keep the fruit taut and fresh. A rosé for the table rather than the parasol — dry, structured and food-loving.

Serve well chilled, 8–10°C. Drinking now, and over the next two to three years. Grilled fish, charcuterie, summer salads, Mediterranean dishes.

Hope Vineyard

Aromatic and crisp, from the Hope Vineyard — citrus and orchard fruit, with the fine, saline line that extended lees ageing brings. The full tasting note follows shortly.

Chosen & boxed here

Every bottle is packed by hand at Gatcombe in protective wine cartons and dispatched by tracked courier across mainland UK and the Isle of Wight.

ii.

Over‑18s only

Wine is sold only to those aged 18 or over. When the wines go on sale, age will be confirmed at checkout, and our couriers operate Challenge 25 on delivery — an adult signature is required.

iii.

A small release

The 2025 wines are made in tiny quantities. Once a wine sells through it is gone until the next vintage — the list will grow as the vineyard does.
